Students will prepare, under the guidance of the course tutor, a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate that they have covered and achieved all the required learning outcomes.
Qualification Attained
Students will gain the:
- Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies
- Level 3 Award in Less Common Pathology for Complementary Therapies
Using this qualification to progress to other complementary therapy qualifications:
If the Anatomy and Physiology unit of the qualification that students wish to study is on the QCF, then the units will cover the same criteria and learning outcomes for all awarding organisations that run this qualification/units, ie. VTCT, ITEC etc. Should students then decide to enrol to another qualification which has the same anatomy and physiology units contained within, then they can apply for a credit transfer of the units (as these are the same).
Students will need to provide evidence for moderation (this might be the work for the anatomy and physiology units completed in previous qualification achieved, or it might be as simple as to provide the certificate and qualification transcript to the external moderator as evidence, so that s/he can see the anatomy and physiology unit has already been achieved in completing and gaining a previous qualification).
